Tyquan Catala, 28, and Sheldon Todd, 28, both of the Bronx, were arrested around 3:30 a.m. Monday after the officer noticed the car parked near the closed Shell gas station on Post Road and then saw the two men running toward the vehicle, said Lt. John Slusarz.

When the officer pulled the vehicle over the two men denied running from the gas station and "things went downhill for them from there," said Slusarz.

Police said the two men were uncooperative and misleading when being questioned, and a check of their arrest history found that Todd was also wanted in Ohio on two felony warrants.

Todd also had a small amount of marijuana, police said.

Both were charged with criminal trespass and interfering with a police investigation. Catala is being held on $5,000 bail.

Todd is being held on $50,000 bail for the two felony warrant from Ohio.
